Hi, I'm Muxin (it's pronounced muu-shen).

I'm a product manager by trade, but my career has largely been way finding towards impact. My career started in premed, drifted through education, anthropology, and nonprofit - each step was an iteration of defining how I wanted to help others.

Eventually I realized that product management, of all things, was the lever: You can actually get things built that change people's lives, and make it last at scale.

I’ve built - and rebuilt - product portfolios across digital, energy, AI, and smart home. Most of my impact has come when the path wasn’t obvious. I’ve taken on ambiguous problem spaces - sometimes as a one-person product org - delivering 12 launches in a year, growing $650M ARR portfolios, launching EV and AI products, designing energy programs, and leading over 40 cross-functional teams at once.

I’m not sure I’d say I “thrived in ambiguity": It's more like I navigate it, find clarity, and deliver concrete results even when the odds aren’t great.

I started this site as a portfolio for product concepts and studying AI. But lately I've been drawn to other topics like what forms the narratives and norms of our society, whether they're harming us (and if they can be changed).
